Zhao Lixin, styling himself as Yuanshuo, a native of Anqiu,Shandong Province, is a professor and graduate supervisor, and vice chairman of the trade union of Shandong Agricultural University; Member of Chinese Calligraphers Association; Member of Chinese Poetry Society; Senior visiting scholar of Peking University; Visiting professor, University of Raman, Malaysia; Visiting professor of Taishan University; Member of the lettering Committee of Shandong Calligraphy Association; Director of Shandong Education Calligraphy Association, President of Taishan poetry, calligraphy and Painting Research Association, President of Dongyue calligraphy and painting art research institute, honorary president of Daizong poetry society, chairman of calligraphy and Painting Association of Shandong Agricultural University, and vice chairman of Tai'an Calligraphy Association.

　　His works have been exhibited many times in exhibitions sponsored by China Calligraphers Association. Many works were officially presented as gifts to overseas institutions and friends in Japan, the United States, Britain, Germany, Australia, Singapore and Malaysia, and were collected by Huang Jiading, former special envoy to China of Malaysia, Liao Zhonglai, former Minister of transportation, Huang Jiaquan, former Minister of industry and trade, Hu Zhiqiang, former mayor of Taichung City, Li Zhensheng, famous scientists, Niu ManJiang, etc. In January, one belt, one road, Malaysia, 2014, 2015 and 2016 invited Professor Ma Wenhua to give lectures and exchange exhibitions, and held calligraphy and painting exhibitions. In April 2017, he was invited to Malaysia to participate in the launching ceremony and a series of activities of "the year of the art exchange between the two sides of the road." Monographs on calligraphy and painting have been published in Journal of Peking University, Chinese calligraphy magazine, calligraphy appreciation and evaluation, China calligraphy and painting daily, etc.
